A tradition inside the family
We come from Van Lam, a place closely connected with embroidery in the Tam Coc area. In our family, embroidery has moved quietly from one generation to another. It has never felt distant or ceremonial to us. It has simply been there: in the room, in the hands of elders, in the patience it teaches, and in the value it gives to careful work.
My mother at the center of the story
At the heart of this workshop is my mother, who has spent more than 50 years with embroidery. Her skill matters, of course, but what guests often remember most is her calm presence and the sincerity with which she shares the craft. She represents not only technical experience but also continuity. Through her, visitors understand that this workshop is built on lived tradition, not marketing alone.
